You are warmly welcome to join our visual culture seminar. Scenography and
Art History (Bloomsbury 2021) is a pioneering anthology exploring the complex
relationship between the broad academic domain of art history and new
approaches to scenography studies.

First, the editors, Astrid von Rosen and Viveka Kjellmer, will introduce the volume, and some of the authors will talk about their individual contributions. The parallel publication of ground-breaking special scenography and art history issue of Journal of Art History will also be presented. Second, the seminar invites discussion on the new publications, in relation to post-qualitative approaches and the performative research paradigm (Østern 2021).
